Northern Breezes - Leech Lake

Qualified graduates will be charter certified for day sailing on 22' - 25' keelboats.  The 12 hour course is taught by ASA-certified instructors and is limited to 4 students.

Scheduled at your convenience, the series is usually 2 - 3 sessions and includes: preparing the boat, outboard engine operations, getting underway, tacking, points of sail, boat balance, sail trim, jibing, helming, controlling angle of heel, heaving to, reefing, crew overboard drill, docking plus a solo checkout and written exam.

Course materials include the book, "Sailing Fundamentals", a video/DVD, Federal Regulations, Log book and a pre-test.

Fee is $379 with a potential group discount.
